Demolition is fast and focused on clearing a site quickly. Deconstruction takes a more careful approach so we can salvage materials like wood, fixtures, and metals. We do both. You choose based on your priorities, timeline, and what you want to recover.
Can you still recover materials after asbestos is removed?
Yes. We take care of hazardous materials first. Once the site is safe, we can shift into recovery mode and deconstruct what’s left. Anything that can be reused or redirected gets handled with care.
Do you manage permits and compliance?
We do. We take care of the demolition permits and make sure all abatement work meets WorkSafeBC and local regulations. You won’t need to deal with paperwork or safety confusion. We handle it from start to finish.

Do I need asbestos testing before renovations?
Yes. If your building was constructed before 1990, asbestos testing is required before any demolition, renovation, or material removal begins. What materials commonly contain asbestos?
Asbestos was used in many building materials between the 1950s and 1990. Common examples include:
